Enroll in the Hoosier Academies
We're still accepting K-8 enrollments for an immediate start, however, the deadline to enroll is 5:00 PM EST on January 30 .
Many grades are nearing and/or have reached their capacity and are currently being waitlisted. Those grades include 1-2 at the Indianapolis Learning Center, and grades 7-8 at the Muncie Learning Center. Students who are waitlisted will be offered seats on a first come, first served basis upon successful completion of the enrollment process and subject to seat availability. We encourage everyone interested in attending the Hoosier Academies for this academic year to submit an enrollment as soon as possible, but no later than 5:00 PM EST on January 30.
High school enrollment for the 2008-2009 school year is now closed.
Enrollment Steps
Step 1. Complete Online Application

Please note that students entering Kindergarten must be age 5 by August 1, 2008 to enroll.
When completing the online application, please select either “Hoosier Academy@Indianapolis” or “Hoosier Academy@Muncie,” depending on the Learning Center your child(ren) will be attending for the twice-a-week learning center requirement.
Step 2. Provide Required Forms
After you have completed the online application, fax or mail the following required documents:
- Copy of birth certificate
- Copy of proof of residence
- Copy of immunization records
- Hoosier Academy@Indianapolis enrollment documents (download now)
- Hoosier Academy@Muncie enrollment documents (download now)
- Official school report card/transcript (grade 10 only)

In order to expedite your student’s enrollment, please submit these additional required documents within 7-10 days of completing the online application. 
Step 3. Take placement tests (grades 1-8 only)
If you are enrolling a student in grades 1-8, administer the K¹² Math and Language Arts placement tests, which will help us to determine the appropriate courses for your student. Your student may start the placement tests while you are gathering the required forms.
To take the placement tests, log in to your Enrollment Dashboard and click “Begin” in the Tests column next to your student's name. You will receive detailed instructions there.

If your student is enrolling in kindergarten or grades 9-10, no placement tests are required. High school students will need to submit an official school transcript to help us determine the appropriate courses for your student. 
Step 4. Placement Conference
After you've completed steps 1 and 3, a placement specialist will contact you to discuss your student's course level.
After all 4 steps are successfully completed, each student will be marked approved on your enrollment dashboard.
Have You Completed All 4 Steps?
Once your enrollment is complete you will receive complete course materials before the first day of school. If your enrollment is approved 15 or fewer days before the beginning of school, your materials will arrive within 7-10 days of your enrollment approved date.
