How it Works—K-8
The Hoosier Academies are tuition-free public charter school programs that use the K¹² curriculum, which is delivered through in-class and online instruction. The materials are provided by K12 and shipped both to the learning centers and to parents’ homes, and include books, CDs, and even bags of rocks and dirt.
We also partner parents and students with a state-certified teacher to guide and track their progress through the curriculum, and provide in-class instruction in our learning centers.
Student-to-student interaction is emphasized during their time at the learning center, so students are always well educated and well socialized.

Who is this intended for?
The Hoosier Academies serve students in grades K-10 within the state of Indiana. Students must be able to attend a Hoosier Academies learning center in either Indianapolis (grades K-10) or Muncie (grades K-8) for classes on two full days a week.
What are the costs?
Because we are part of the public school system, the Hoosier Academies are tuition-free. The entire K12 curriculum as well as a loaner computer, printer, Internet stipend, and access to a state-certified teacher are provided free of charge.
How do I get started?
