Who's This For?
A Unique Program for Unique Students
K¹²9¹² students are as diverse as the countries they represent, and so are the personal reasons that send each family on a journey seeking the highest-quality educational alternatives. Unlike traditional public schools with their “one size fits all” approach to learning, the K¹²9¹² program serves students who:
- Are accelerated learners looking for a faster pace than that of the traditional classroom
- Are twice exceptional—able to take the most accelerated courses in some subjects and needing to move much more slowly in others
- Need more time to master concepts than the standard classroom pace allows
- Feel they don’t fit in, are left out, or are bullied in their school environment
- Are easily distracted in a classroom setting, or have a learning challenge
- Seek extra attention not easily found in overcrowded classrooms
- Are homebound or undergoing medical treatments
- Travel frequently or are uprooted throughout the year due to family situations
- Are elite athletes training for competition or athletic careers
- Are talented actors or singers pursuing their dreams
- Want to take an honors or AP® course, or a foreign language or unique elective not available at their school
Ultimately, the K¹²9¹² program is for students willing to make the effort to own their future. We will never judge students’ goals—but we will demand hard work and effort along the way (4-6 hours per day) to ensure they reach them. Our program assumes students are willing to put forth their best effort.
The common denominator among parents who choose the K¹²9K¹² program for their children is the aspiration to remove barriers that restrict their children from reaching their true potential—whatever those barriers are. These parents are passionately motivated to resist restrictions imposed by a learning environment that is not well suited to their children’s unique needs. They understand the power of individualized learning and are willing to get involved.
